Mina/Arafat/Muzdalifah

A number of ladies do a lot of unnecessary socializing in Mina/Arafat/Muzdalifah as everyone is in a confined space, unlike in Makkah and Madinah where everyone is dispersed in the various hotels. Rather spend your time in Salaat/Tilaawat/Zikr etc.

Because of a strange environment and the associated tension, menses may come on earlier than expected or come on too frequently or may be prolonged or heavy. Thus one should be well prepared by taking adequate toiletry items especially for Mina/Arafat/Muzdalifah.

Women who fear the crowd at Muzdalifah and/or the crowd at Jamaraat on the 10th of Zil Hajj, are allowed to proceed to Mina after having spent half the night in Muzdalifah.

One should go to pelt the Shaitaan well after Esha as this time appears to be quieter than the other times.

Ladies should cut a maximum of an inch from the tips of their braids in order to come out of Ihraam.
