WAAJEEBAAT OF RAMEE

  1. To pelt the biggest Jamaraat only on the 10th of Zil Hajj.

 

  1. To observe the order of Ramee, (pelting), Nahr, (Zabah), and Halq/Qasr on the 10th of Zil Hajj by the Qaarin and the Mutamattee.

 

  1. To pelt all the Jamaraat on the 11th and 12th of Zil Hajj, (and, if need be, on the 13th of Zil Hajj).

 

  1. To perform Ramee of all the three Jamaraat on the 13th of Zil Hajj if one stays over in Mina after Subhe Sadiq of the 13th of Zil Hajj.

 

  1. To perform Ramee of all the three Jamaraat if one happens to return to Mina after Subhe Sadiq of the 13th of Zil Hajj.

 

  1. To perform Ramee of the 13th of Zil Hajj before sunset of the same day.

 

Ruling

 

  1. If any one of the Waajeeb acts is omitted either intentionally or through forgetfulness, the Hajj will be deemed to have been performed.  However, Jazaa, (penalty), becomes Waajeeb.

 

  1. If any of the Waajeeb acts are overlooked because of a valid Shar’ee reason, then the Jazaa falls through.
