  1. To say the intention of Hajj loudly.  (Womenfolk will say it softly).

 

  1. To make Niyyat in the Haram Shareef if one is residing in Makkah before the 8th of Zil Hajj.

 

  1. To say the intention in the sitting position after offering the two Rakaats Sunnatul Ihraam.

 

  1. To perform a Nafl Tawaaf before proceeding to Mina.

 

  1. To stay near Masjid-e-Khaif in Mina.

 

  1. To perform Fajr Salaat on the 9th of Zil Hajj at its earliest time.

 

  1. To leave Mina by the Dabb which is a hillock next to Masjid-e-Khaif.

 

  1. To make Niyyat for staying in Arafat.

 

  1. During Wuqoof-e-Arafat:

To read the Talbiyyah abundantly.

To read the Takbeer and Tahleel abundantly.

To engage in abundant Duaa and Istigfaar.

To observe humility.

To stand behind and close to the Imaam.

To face the Qibla.

To repeat each supplication three times.

To be in a state of purity.

To stand in the sun, unless a valid Shar’ee reason dictates otherwise.

 

  1. To approach Muzdalifah from Arafat on foot.

 

  1. To approach Muzdalifah through the route of Maznin which is a road between two mountains.

 

  1. To approach Muzdalifah with extreme dignity.

 

  1. To have a bath before entering Muzdalifah.

 

  1. To make haste in praying the combined Salaat of Maghrib and Esha at the time of Esha in Muzdalifah.

 

  1. To stay awake, engaging in Ibaadat, during the night at Muzdalifah.

 

  1. To have a bath after dawn before commencing the Wuqoof at Muzdalifah.

 

  1. During Wuqoof-e-Muzdalifah:

To read the Talbiyyah abundantly.

To read the Takbeer and Tahleel abundantly.

To engage in abundant Duaa and Istigfaar.

To observe humility.

To face the Qibla.

To repeat each supplication three times.

To be in a state of purity.

 

  1. To perform Fajr Salaat immediately Fajr time begins at Muzdalifah on the 10th of Zil Hajj.

 

  1. To collect seven pebbles at Muzdalifah for pelting the big Jamaraat on the 10th of Zil Hajj.

 

  1. To wash the pebbles.

 

  1. To ensure that the pebbles are the size of a bean or a pea.

 

  1. To pelt the biggest Jamaraat only as soon as one enters Mina from Muzdalifah on the 10th of Zil Hajj.

 

  1. To raise the hand while pelting in such a way that the armpit is exposed and its whiteness is visible.  (This applies to males only).

 

  1. To hold the pebble between the thumb and forefinger when pelting.

 

  1. To perform Ramee before the Qurbaani by the Mufrid.

 

  1. To perform Qurbaani by the Mufrid.

 

  1. To stand near the animal at the time of Qurbaani if one cannot do the slaughtering himself.

 

  1. To eat from the Hajj Qurbaani animal.

 

  1. To perform Halq/Qasr before the Qurbaani by the Mufrid.

 

  1. To recite the Takbeer and engage in Duas when having Halq/Qasr.

 

  1. To have Halq/Qasr by commencing from the right side of the head.

 

  1. To have Halq/Qasr on the 10th of Zil Hajj.

 

  1. To repeat Tawaaf-ul-Widaa if stay in Makkah is prolonged due to unforeseen circumstances after already having performed this Tawaaf.

 

  1. To perform Tawaaf-e-Widaa by residents of Makkah, the Hill or the Meeqaat.

 

  1. To carry Zam Zam water to one’s home and country.

 

  1. To go inside the Kaabaah without inconveniencing others.

 

  1. To recite the Qur'aan, cover to cover, in the Haram.
