HAJJ PRACTICALITIES

SUNNAN OF SA’EE

 

  1. To say the Niyyat for the Sa’ee at Safa.

 

  1. To perform Sa’ee immediately after any Tawaaf.

 

  1. To ensure that the “aurah” is covered at all times during Sa’ee.

 

  1. To climb up Safaa and Marwa up to some point.

 

  1. To face the Qibla upon climbing Safaa and Marwa.

 

  1. To walk at a quicker pace during Sa’ee on reaching Batn-ul–Wadi, the area between the green fluorescent lights and columns.  (This applies to males only).

 

  1. To complete all seven circuits of Sa'ee consecutively.

 

Ruling

 

  1. It is bad to omit a Sunnat intentionally while there is great reward in observing it.

 

  1. However, there is no Jazaa for omitting it.
