FARAAIDH OF IHRAAM

 

To be in Ihraam, (i.e. to make intention and to recite the Talbiyyah), before entering the Meeqaat.

 

Ruling

 

  1. If one enters the Meeqaat without Ihraam, then a Damm becomes Waajeeb and one is also sinful.

 

  1. If one comes out of the Meeqaat, puts on the Ihraam and then re-enters the Meeqaat, then both the Damm and sin fall through.
