Note

 

  1. If all the combined Sadaqah adds up in value to that of a Damm, then a little less should be given.

 

  1. To break off a broken nail does not make any penalty Waajeeb.

 

  1. One cannot pare the nails until one has trimmed or shaved the hair of the head. To clip the nails of both hands and/ feet in one sitting.
B.

To clip the nails of only one hand and one foot in one sitting.

C.

To clip the nails of each hand and foot in four separate sittings.
Four Damms
D.
To clip less than five nails, either in one sitting or in separate sittings.

Complete Sadaqah for each nail cut.
E.
For a Muhrim to cut the nails of a non-Muhrim.

“Some” Sadaqah on the Muhrim.
