Note

  1. If the pelting of the 11th or 12th Zil Hajj is missed then these should be performed as Qazaa, respectively on the12th and 13th Zil Hajj, but by so doing the penalty of Damm is not waived.

  1. If the order of pelting on either the 11th, 12th or 13th is not followed, no penalty is due; however to do so is against the Sunnat.

  1. The Masnoon time for pelting all three Jamaraat on the 13th Zil Hajj is between Zawwaal and sunset only.  However, it is allowed between sunrise and Zawwaal, but is Makrooh to do so.  This rule holds equal for either gender.

  1. If the total value of the Sadaqah equals to the value of a Damm then a little less should be given.

  1. That person who is so incapacitated that he cannot stand and pray Salaat or even walk and has to be lifted and carried for Ramee, then it is permissible for that person to deputise another person to pelt on his behalf.  In this case there is no sin or Jazaa.

  1. The person who was deputised to do another person’s Ramee and did not do his has discarded a Waajeeb and thus Damm becomes Waajeeb on him.

  1. It is Makrooh to avoid pelting all the three Jamaraat on the 13th of Zil Hajj if one happens to be in Mina after Subhe Sadiq of this day.

  1. It is Makrooh to avoid pelting all the three Jamaraat on the 13th of Zil Hajj if one happens to return to  Mina for any reason after Subhe Sadiq of this day.

  1. To leave Mina after sunset of the 12th of Zil Hajj or before Subhe Saadiq of the 13th of Zil Hajj without doing the Ramee of the 13th of Zil Hajj is Makrooh.
